Description
Overweights of Joy by Amy Carmichael is a moving chronicle of her work among women and girls whom she rescued from temple prostitution and from being “married to the gods” in South India. It was written as a companion book to “Things as They Are,” but is a powerful work in its own right. In “Overweights of Joy,” Amy continues to share honestly of both the joys and the difficulties of her work.
