Description
“Oh for a love, for a burning love, like the fervent flame of a fire…”
Lotus Buds is a collection of stories of the children Amy Carmichael rescued from temple marriages and raised under the protective wing of the Dohnavur mission. She hired a photographer to capture her girls in daily life, and the result is about 50 gorgeous photographs showcasing their characters and expressions as closely as could be reproduced in film. Carmichael’s writing style will captivate and charm you as she relates the everyday dialogue, triumphs, and mischief of the children.
